Petit Planet is HoYoverse's cozy galactic life simulation game. “Hoyo” in searches usually refers to HoYoverse, while the mobile store seller or publisher is COGNOSPHERE PTE. LTD. Those names describe the game brand and its store identity; seeing COGNOSPHERE does not mean you have found a different game.
Its announced public release is December 4, 2026 for PC, iOS, and Android. Nintendo Switch 2 has a later 2027 window.
Recognizing the correct game
The full title is Petit Planet. Its central setting is a small personal planet in the Starsea, with fuzzy Neighbors and a Galactic Bazaar shared with other players.
Look for those names alongside the publisher identity when checking a store listing. Petit Island and other games with “planet” or “petit” in their names are separate products. A matching word or similar art direction is not sufficient.
HoYoverse, COGNOSPHERE, and Loomix Co.
HoYoverse is the game brand, and COGNOSPHERE PTE. LTD. is the seller named by the mobile stores. Loomix Co. is a company inside Petit Planet's world. Its “Nurture a Planet” initiative connects planets across the Starsea; Mobai and Elsasani help you begin that journey. Loomix is therefore a story-world name, rather than a different publisher to search for in an app store.
The official website uses your HoYoverse Account for sign-in and test or registration actions. Keep the account identity separate from your character's in-game role as a Planet Tender.
What you do in Petit Planet
The game centers on building and shaping your home rather than a combat campaign. You can decorate a house, change the surrounding landscape and coastline, and shape the planet's skies.
Everyday activities include growing crops, fishing, catching insects, beachcombing, and cooking. These activities supply discoveries and materials while giving you different ways to spend time on the planet.
Neighbors have individual personalities and stories. Helping them, giving thoughtful gifts, sharing meals, and taking strolls are part of building relationships. The Galactic Bazaar adds a social space for trading, activities, creating, and meeting other Planet Tenders.
Starsea exploration takes you beyond the home planet to collect materials, encounter creatures, and meet characters. The personal planet and the Bazaar therefore serve different purposes: one is your home to shape; the other is a place to socialize.
HoYoverse does not mean every game shares the same systems
Publisher identity alone does not prove that Petit Planet uses another HoYoverse game's combat, character banners, currencies, account rewards, or progression rules. Those features need Petit Planet-specific information.
The current mobile listings describe a free download and disclose in-app purchases; Google Play also identifies random-item purchases. That establishes a paid-content disclosure, not a complete launch shop or a price list.

- Read the current store compatibility and release status before installing.
The Final Beta ended on October 19, 2026. An old invitation or sign-up video identifies a historical test, not currently open public access. Pre-registration for the December launch is a different action from applying for that closed test.
