Medowlyn's documented first meeting takes place on Encounter: Cloudslumber Islet. In the Final Beta, that islet was in Season of Snowfall – Hexia Zone H84. Older instructions sending you to Taffeh – Depths describe a previous build.
The Final Beta ended on October 19, 2026, so this is a reference for that build's encounter route. The launch location and seasonal availability need confirmation when Petit Planet releases.
Identify the first-encounter islet

Cloudslumber is a dedicated introduction encounter for Medowlyn, the plushie designer. It can be found and explored once in the documented system. Its purpose is to introduce her, rather than provide a permanent island you repeatedly visit for every stage of recruitment.
A character's home galaxy and an encounter's map location are different fields. Medowlyn is associated with Norvan, but that does not override the Final Beta encounter entry placing Cloudslumber in the Hexia seasonal area.
| Encounter detail | Final Beta reference |
|---|---|
| Neighbor | Medowlyn |
| First meeting | Encounter: Cloudslumber Islet |
| Area | Season of Snowfall – Hexia Zone H84 |
| First-encounter repeatability | Explored once |
| Guaranteed spawn rate | Not established |
Search beyond the initially visible islets
Encounter Islets can appear even after a zone looks fully explored. Finishing the visible exploration checklist therefore does not prove that Medowlyn's introduction has been missed permanently.
Watch for new unknown islets in the appropriate area when continuing your voyages. Keep the purpose of each trip clear: you are looking for an encounter opportunity, rather than collecting a fixed number of completion stars to buy a guaranteed appearance.
There is no verified rule that Medowlyn appears after a particular number of anchors, on a specific real-world day, or immediately after a daily reset. Those promises would make a random encounter sound deterministic.
The second meeting is a separate stage

The general beta Neighbor sequence starts with the first meeting recording a profile in Starcove at Bond Level 1. At that stage, the Neighbor is introduced, but the visit and settlement sequence is not complete.
A second encounter raises the relationship to Bond Level 2 and opens the visit stage. Unlike the introduction, this meeting can happen on an ordinary Starsea islet. You do not need to assume that Cloudslumber must respawn.
After the visit and its associated request, progression commonly reaches Bond Level 3. Settlement then depends on having sufficient Neighbor Capacity. Check the current request and capacity display if you have already reached that stage.
Separate three different reasons for a missing invitation
- You have not met Medowlyn yet. Check the appropriate first-encounter area and watch for unknown islets.
- You have met her once. Continue looking for the second Starsea meeting instead of expecting immediate settlement.
- She has visited your planet. Check the visit request and available resident capacity before looking for another introduction.
A full exploration display, a first meeting, and a completed move-in are different milestones. Identifying which one you have reached is more useful than repeatedly retracing an outdated map route.
Recognize the older lost-plushie encounter
A Stardrift encounter recording shows Medowlyn preparing an inspirational tea time when a plushie drifts away. She asks you to recover it and points toward the churning Starsea or clouds on the horizon. Returning the plushie completes that request and leads to dialogue about visiting your planet.
That is an older task example, not a new set of coordinates for Final Beta Cloudslumber. If your interaction has this missing-plushie prompt, follow the request currently displayed; the audio does not give a complete map route or a named reward to copy.
After she settles, a separate character interaction shown in the beta lets you exchange two already-learned duplicate recipes for one of her plushies. That exchange is a later benefit of meeting Medowlyn, not the payment required to make Cloudslumber spawn.
Version checks before using an old map
Cloudslumber's recorded location changed between tests: the Stardrift reference places it in Taffeh – Depths, while the Final Beta reference moves it to the seasonal Hexia area. Keep the map's test name attached to its directions.
The seasonal name also does not establish that the test is still online. Use it to identify the historical encounter area, then check the playable build's own map and event availability before planning another search.
